I TRIED IT AND LIKED IT

And now I want to share it with you!
We all need some inspiration every now and again to mix the 'same old' up! I work very much alongside the seasons and so here you'll find seasonal recipes that are:

1. EASY - I don't go in for complicated cooking myself!
2. WHOLESOME, healthy and in keeping with the seasons
3. TRIED & TESTED - it's always easier if recipes are liked by most of the family - Iife becomes that bit more complicated if you're having to cook different things for different people the whole time!

My Top Spring Recipe of the Week...

Goes well with basmati rice or brown rice!

In the summer, replace the celeriac with a mixture of waxy potatoes and carrots.

Instead of chard, you can use spinach, spring greens or kale, removing the tough stalks. You can use any kind of tinned bean or pulse, such as chickpeas or lentils.

Low in fat but high in protein from the nut butters and seeds - ideal for pre or post-workout!

You can use normal flour but rice flour makes it more digestible and very much less likely to 'bloat you'!

Incredibly light but super tasty! Rice flour means they are gluten-free but rice flour makes them more digestible and feel lighter on the digestive system for many.

Because the sweet potato and cinnamon give these a natural sweet flavour, you could always reduce the sugar amount even more to create a more 'savoury' muffin!
